About the Chamber Our Mission
The Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce is a private, not-for-profit business organization formed to foster a strong economy by providing members and the community with relevant services and information. The mission of the Chamber is to promote the business community, the overall economic climate and an enhanced quality of life in Glastonbury. In so doing, the Chamber serves its members and the community at large. Chamber offices are located at 2400 Main Street, Glastonbury, CT 06033.

Programs
Legislative Support and Advocacy
The Chamber acts as the voice of its members by communicating information on current legislation, soliciting members' views, expressing those views and concerns to legislators and providing opportunities for members to meet with legislators. Review Connecticut's status on the Legislative Quotient which examines the impact that state legislative have on the local business climate.
Networking Opportunities
Members can make valuable business contacts at Chamber-sponsored functions such as the Business After Hours, Glastonbury Leads Exchange Group, Women of the Workforce (WOW), SPRING (Young Professionals Rising in the Next Generation), Business Forum.
New Member Recognition
The Chamber constantly strives to recognize new members by offering quarterly orientations and provides a formal introductions of all new members at Business After Hours events. Each month the Chamber includes a detailed listing of new members in the monthly Pulse on Business newsletter.
New Resident Program
Member businesses can participate in this program, which is designed to welcome new residents into the community by providing a wealth of information about the community and your business. Participating businesses are allowed to include sample products and/or coupons designed to promote further business.
Programs and Events
The Chamber coordinates many events and functions on an annual basis, including an Annual Meeting & Dinner, Professional Women's Forum, Apple Blossom Golf Tournament, and Candidates' Forum. The Glastonbury Chamber is also proud to produce two of the biggest community events, including the annual Apple Harvest Festival and Riverfront Music Festival. The Chamber encourages member participation in the planning and coordination of several of these events. Members have the exclusive opportunity to sponsor such events, serve on planning committees, or as volunteers
SCORE
The Chamber is the local site for the Senior Corps of Retired Executives, an organization that offers no-fee counseling to small business owners.
Workshops and Seminars
The organization offers a variety of forums where members can learn, exchange ideas and information and gather business experience. Members receive information on upcoming programs through the monthly newsletter, e-mails, and mailed forms.
